Dr J Night Club Louisiana Photography, Jax Beer Sign, Vintage
This Louisiana Night Club Photo was taken on a road trip south of New Orleans. All the little towns in Louisiana that we visited had so much to see but this night club was one of my favorite places of all. The old Jax sign is from a beer that's no longer around and the nightclub abandoned says "Dr. J's Night Club" in the same kind of letter stickers you buy at the hardware store and I love the resourceful nature. I wish I could have seen it in its prime! It was someone's attempt at making their neighborhood a more fun place to be and it's a shame it's closed down, But.. the abandoned look is what I'm drawn to and therefore this image exists.
A great image for people who love the south, old signage and Louisiana culture!
