Recycle Man, Buenos Aires Black and White Street Photography
A common trade I saw when I lived in Argentina was recycling collection. It was hard work and fairly competitive. People would take the trains into town from the outskirts of the city to collect overnight, turn it in for cash, and do it all again the next day. I spoke to one of these hard working guys for a few days in the park and learned some really interesting things about the people who weren't paying dog walkers to walk their poodles in the park. Exactly the kinds of things I like to learn about a place is what real life is like for many or all of its people. Perspective is everything. Shot on 35mm film in 2006.
