About this item...

The reservoirs were low this year and especially in the fall where the previous forest, cleared to make the lake, remains, in a way. This giant tree root sits a few hundred feet from the shore and normally 12 feet underneath. I cleared it of caught fishing line and found the perfect angle to compliment this beautiful tangle of roots. This tree will again be submerged for part of the year next spring. Title: Cthulhu of Vallecito LOCATION: San Juan National Forest Colorado
