Hike in the Ferns, Mt Hood Oregon Nature Photography

Afern filled forest floor in the beautiful temperate jungle near Mt Hood in northwest Oregon. On a road trip to Portland, from Bend in central Oregon, I found a campground near Mt Hood and camped alone for a night before dealing with the city. I took advantage of the light while I could in this already dark forest. I could have walked for hours and the area remains one of my favorite places to camp and explore.
