The Range, Slab City, Black and White Photo Print

These Old Theater Chairs aren't really abandoned, though they look like it; they're where you must sit to enjoy anything at the Slab City Stage, also known as The Range Lounge. Surprisingly, not all the seats will give you a spring in the back or ruin your clothes, but I prefer to stand anyway. By day, they're rarely seen by most people just stopping by The Range for a concert or an evening out. The whole stage environment of The Range was built for the film Into the Wild, the movie that gave Slab City its notoriety (although it does that itself if you know where to ask). 

A fun memory and photo for people who love the movie or book, Into the Wild, and/or Slab City itself. We had many a great night there of camping and live music!
