This photo features an opening in Buckskin Gulch where it meets Wire Pass. One of the most dangerous hikes in the world, potentially, if you were to be caught in a flash flood. One of my favorite hikes to date, and we've been on hundreds around the country. Slot canyons and anywhere in the US with traces of ancient peoples are particularly striking to me. This canyon has 800-year-old petroglyphs and is the world's longest slot canyon.
