This Winter Homestead Cabin, Colorado Photography, was taken on a cold winter day during a snow storm, far up a dirt road leading into the wilderness. Along the way were many abandoned mining camps like the one where this cabin was found. Some brave family had toughed out the harsh but beautiful winters of Colorado and enjoyed amazing spring, summer and fall thereafter. I envy the life they lived there, no electricity but a nice warm wood stove and homemade blankets and tea. A wonderful scene for anyone who loves rustic art and homesteading life!
